Care For Mothers (C4M)
A campaign supporting maternal health by donating delivery kits to pregnant mothers across villages in Ndagalu Division, Magu District.
Impact: More than 50 pregnant mothers from various villages have benefited from this campaign to date.
The campaign provides essential delivery support items to mothers in health facilities across villages in Ndagalu Division.
Essay Writing Competition
Mwandishi Bora Award
Inspires primary and secondary school students in Ndagalu Division to write essays that identify and critically analyze challenges in their schools, communities, and nation.
Students develop critical thinking, self-confidence, and the ability to express ideas creatively and articulately.
Nishike Mkono Project
In 2025, NKCBO launched the Nishike Mkono Fund (Hold My Hand Fund) to strengthen solidarity and advance economic empowerment in Ndagalu. The fund provides affordable, low-interest loans to support emergencies and business growth.
Impact: More than TZS 14,000,000 was mobilized and disbursed to over 20 community members in 2025. In 2026, trust and participation increased, attracting additional members to join.
Future Projects & Campaigns
Niwezeshe Nisome Initiative
A community-driven education support initiative aimed at ensuring that vulnerable children, especially girls, can access and complete basic and secondary education by providing essential educational support and materials.
Jali Afya Project
A new initiative focused on non-communicable diseases (NCDs). NKCBO members and community residents will be educated and encouraged to undergo screenings for diabetes, hypertension, and cancer, with a strong emphasis on early detection and timely care.
Adolescent girls and women will also receive cervical cancer screening support through this program.
